Sagewood appoints Joshua Bredimus as new fitness specialist

Phoenix – Sagewood, a Life Plan Community featuring a resort-style setting in Phoenix, announced the appointment of Joshua Bredimus as the new Fitness Specialist.

Bredimus is joining Sagewood with two decades of experience, a wide range of knowledge and a passion for fitness and well-being. While he was attending Arizona State University, Bredimus began working in a physical therapy clinic and realized he loved the field. After this experience, he changed his major, achieved a Bachelor of Science in exercise and wellness and pursued it as a career path.

Sagewood Continues Phased Reopening of Amenities, Activities and Events

PHOENIX (June 2, 2022) — Sagewood, a Life Plan Community featuring a resort-style setting in northeast Phoenix, is continuing to reopen amenities within the independent living community, Acacia Health Center and Desert Willow Assisted Living & Memory Care. In recent months, the property has upgraded existing facilities and added new features to the grounds. Residents have also been actively participating in events and forming new groups that fit their interests.

In April, visitor restrictions were lifted for Sagewood, Acacia and Desert Willow, allowing residents to welcome guests on campus. Restaurants have resumed their full services as of May 16 with delicious menus prepared by the executive chef and culinary team. The two on-site movie theaters have been renovated with state-of-the-art sound systems for a high-quality film watching experience.

Residents living in The Estates at Sagewood now have easy access to amenities with the completion of the park and pathway that links these homes to the main property. Construction of a new guardhouse and entrance off Mayo Boulevard is currently underway.

Activities and events are in full swing and resident groups have continued to grow. Among the newest is the Wine Club, which already boasts over 70 members who are enjoying talking about and tasting vino. In May, the Sagewood Links Social Club started by popular demand to introduce and engage residents in the premier Sagewood Links golf course. The club is non-competitive and open to players of all levels. With the reopening of the Sagewood movie theaters the Cinema Society Club also has begun to meet regularly to watch flicks with one another.

In the coming months, Sagewood has several special activities and events planned such as arts and crafts, jewelry making, ballroom dance classes and more. Sagewood, a Life Plan Community featuring a resort-like setting in northest Phoenix, has reached more than 70 percent in construction progress for its $100M, 220KSF Phase II that includes 101 independent living apartment homes, new restaurants and community amentities. Sagewood is being developed by LCS Development and is managed by Life Care Services. Todd and Associated is the architect and the Weitz Company is the general contractor.

Sagewood 220,000 Square foot, 3.5 acre Phase II will feature both one-two bedroom apartment homes, an 18-hole Championship golf putting course, and new dining facilities including The Owl’s Nest Restaurants and lounge, expansion of the existing Canyon Cafe and an expansion of the current Palo Verde Dining Room which will become a new, seperate venue called Sonoran.
