Making the move from a home you’ve lived in for years to a retirement community is a big step. But Sagewood residents tell us they don’t regret it one bit. In fact, it’s enhanced the quality of their lives. Free from the responsibilities of homeownership, they’re able to spend their days as they wish. If you decide to join them, you’ll have more time to do the things you love with people who share your interests. And more opportunities to try something new. From bocce and bicycling to yoga and Zumba, there’s always something fun to do at Sagewood.

If your idea of fun is more cultural than recreational, we’ve got that too. There are lifelong learning classes, painting classes, book clubs, guest lectures and musical performances. The Musical Instrument Museum across the street is a never-ending source of education and visiting musicians from around the world.

Independent living at Sagewood also means you’ll be living in one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the entire country. Phoenix is a haven for museum hopping, theatergoing, art shows, shopping, golfing and gourmet dining. The landscape puts on quite a show too. You’ll have a front row seat from your balcony or patio with views of the Sonoran Desert and McDowell Mountains.

As a resident of our independent living community, you’ll have access to a host of resort-like amenities and services on campus, including casual and fine dining restaurants, indoor and outdoor pools, pickleball courts, salon and spa, and a fully-equipped fitness center.

The way to wellness? Ask our navigator.

You’ll also have the support of a Health Care Navigator who can guide you to wellness services that fit your interests and goals. The Health Care Navigator provides as much guidance as you want to help you maintain overall wellness and avoid admission to higher levels of health services. But if you need to transition to assisted living, memory care or skilled nursing, the Navigator will help you every step of the way. At your request, the Navigator can also help schedule medical-related appointments and coordinate transfers and paperwork for hospital procedures. When you return to Sagewood from the hospital, the Navigator will ensure the health services you need are all in place to support a quick recovery and a return to the life you love.
