When you work hard, constantly improve yourself and bring a positive attitude each day, you deserve a work environment where you can thrive and grow. At Sagewood, we take every opportunity to support team members and make their experience beneficial for all parties.

The Perks of Working at Sagewood

Meaningful Work

One of the best parts about working in senior living is the knowledge that you’re making a difference in people’s lives every day. Serving fascinating residents who genuinely appreciate the team members makes working at Sagewood a fulfilling experience. No matter what department you work in, you’re integral in making their days special.

Comprehensive Benefits Package

While meaningful days add value to your work, we also know you need to invest in yourself, your family and your future. In addition to competitive wages, full-time team members receive medical, dental and vision insurance. You can contribute to a 401(k) and opt into voluntary life insurance. Associates can also apply for tuition reimbursement to jump-start their futures.

Generous Residents

Associates make a big impact on residents’ comfort and contentment, and their efforts are deeply appreciated. To show their gratitude, the  senior living residents contribute to an annual thank-you fund to provide bonuses, as well as the Sagewood Residents Foundation scholarship fund. Both associates and their dependents can apply for scholarships from the fund.

Learning Opportunities

Working at Sagewood gives you the opportunity to learn from experts in your field. The Acacia Health Center has been given a 5-Star rating by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and received a deficiency-free survey from the Arizona Department of Health Services, Bureau of Long-Term Care Licensing. We maintain an optimal staff-to-resident ratio to enable team members to do their best work. Dedication to teamwork and person-centered care brings out the best in every associate, and these honors are testaments to the expertise of our team.

Work-Life Balance

When they’re here, our Sagewood team members work diligently, so we make sure to respect their personal time. Nursing associates work 12-hour shifts. Food and beverage workers don’t have to work late nights. Cooks in the health center or independent living are usually finished working  by 8:00 or 8:30 p.m. Dietary aides typically end their days by 7:30 p.m. And servers often head home around 9:00 p.m. We know great schedules make associates happier when they’re at work. We want you to have time to do what you love outside of the workday as well.

You get to enjoy stunning resort-style surroundings while working at Sagewood. Our beautifully styled buildings and carefully landscaped grounds make each day more pleasant. Our senior living campus is easily accessible from Arizona State Routes 51 and 101, and our location is very close to Mayo Clinic Hospital.
