LIFELONG LEARNING AT SAGEWOOD
Many residents attend presentations and educational programs in the Phoenix area. But you needn’t travel to get intellectual stimulation. Our resident-led Sagewood Institute of Lifelong Learning (SILL) brings in speakers and presenters from Arizona State University and elsewhere right to our community.
Some classes are led by Sagewood residents who share their expertise on subjects ranging from cardiovascular health to photography. Popular with residents, SILL classes offer opportunities to engage your brain, learn something new, and stay sharp.

A RESIDENT-LED PROGRAM
TAILORED FOR RESIDENTS
SILL was created and is managed by more than 15 residents who make up the curriculum committee. Spring and fall series offerings feature college-level curriculum offered by dozens of exemplary speakers and presenters from around the world.
The program content is carefully tailored to residents’ interests, as the curriculum committee utilizes direct resident feedback and their fortuitous and extensive relationships to curate this incredible lifelong learning opportunity.

In addition to SILL, Community Life Services hosts a variety of educational opportunities with their own slate of speakers, classes and clubs that supplement Sagewood’s resident-driven success in creating an ongoing culture of learning within the community.
