Sagewood's developer and manager, Life Care Services (LCS), has vast experience accommodating residents whose move-in happens to coincide with phases of construction. In fact, LCS architects and site planners have created a detailed master plan that addresses the very issue of minimizing the impact of construction on residents.
As you will note by clicking on the construction phases below, part of the strategy involves a plan to continually move construction away from residents in an east to west direction. In that way, Phase I, "pioneer" residents in the community will be buffered from subsequent construction by the physical structure of the dining area, clubhouse and health care center. As each phase of construction begins, it will always take place on the periphery of and away from existing residential areas.
Strategically placed fences, berms and other landscape features will also serve to reduce the impact of construction on residents, as will construction techniques designed to control dust and noise as much as possible. Construction road entrances separate from resident entrances will help to significantly cut down noise and truck traffic.
Of course, community construction can be fascinating to watch, so seating areas for safe viewing will be set up during construction phases. In all cases, residents will be continuously advised regarding all aspects of construction that might have any bearing on them.
Each new phase of construction will bring a host of exciting new amenities, many of which will be determined through interviews with residents who will help set the direction for these new areas. By becoming a Sagewood resident in its early stages, you will have the opportunity to participate in the development of a dynamic and progressive community, helping to chart its future. With each phase, additional apartment homes, casitas and villas will be added. However, only Phase I will feature lofts with extraordinary floor plans, ceiling heights (above 9') and window plans. The number of residences in each subsequent Phase will vary as building plans are finalized and market demand evaluated.
