HISTORY

Since its early beginnings, LCS has grown to become the largest, employee-owned, privately held company serving the senior living industry. Early on, the company realized the need for a broad-based array of services to develop and manage senior living communities, and, as a result, LCS was established. For nearly four decades, LCS developed or built more than 30 senior living communities across the United States.

Importantly, LCS has focused its attention on the progressive management of senior living communities, instituting choice-driven programs that help to ensure the independence and overall well-being of the residents we serve—measures that have been applauded as positive new directions in the senior living industry. 

Today, with new communities under development, LCS remains devoted to the research, planning and management of residential communities that address the ever-changing needs of the retirement-age population.  With a mission to provide unmatched services and living accommodations to seniors, the company’s goal is to improve the consistency and quality of services and care thus adding to the overall lifestyle opportunities offered.
